Step One Automotive Group is seeking an energetic Salesperson to guide customers through vehicle purchases, driving gross profit and customer satisfaction across dealership locations. You will manage the full sales journey from greeting to delivery, with a focus on building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior automotive sales experience preferred; motivated candidates without experience will be considered.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly unit sales and gross profit targets.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience from first contact through post-delivery follow-up.
• Maintain a high CSI score reflecting customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
• Build a personal prospect and owner follow-up system to drive repeat/referral business.
• Complete OEM and SOAG training monthly, earning manufacturer certifications.
• Execute deals with accurate paperwork, finance handoff, delivery, and title processing.
• Introduce every customer to the Service Department to foster long-term relationships.

Salespeople are responsible for the full customer journey: from initial greeting and needs discovery through vehicle selection, demonstration, negotiation, financing handoff, delivery, and long-term follow-up.This is a performance-driven position. Success is measured in gross profit, units sold, and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
