Job Description
The Sales Agent is responsible for generating sales appointments with customers that contact the dealership via the internet to purchase new and/or pre-owned vehicles. The eSales Agent delivers a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner. This highly accountable position uses lead management tools, CRM software and the internet to manage inquiry flow, update customer files, and closely track customer interest. The eSales Agent will be trained to understand all products and services offered, will become knowledgeable of inventory as well as financing and incentive programs. (The Salesperson Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation $17.00/hr. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or number of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.)
