Project: State Government Salesforce Applications
About the Role
Invoti LLC is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect with strong hands-on development skills to support enterprise Salesforce applications for a State Government client.
This is a working architect position combining architecture, technical leadership, and active development. We need someone who can design a solution, write and troubleshoot Apex and Lightning Web Components, review code, support integrations, and help deliver reliable production releases.
The role supports established Salesforce applications with complex business processes, public-facing portals, external integrations, and ongoing maintenance and modernization needs.
This is not a documentation-only or advisory architect position. The selected candidate must be willing and able to develop, debug, and deliver solutions alongside the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture and hands-on development: Design and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, Batch/Queueable Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, and APIs. Handle complex development and troubleshooting tasks.
- Technical leadership: Review and approve technical designs, perform code reviews, mentor developers, establish coding standards, and ensure secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Integrations: Design and troubleshoot Salesforce integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, scheduled data exchanges, and external enterprise systems. Address failures, retries, reconciliation, logging, and monitoring.
- Production support: Investigate complex application defects, performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and integration failures. Lead root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective solutions.
- DevOps and release management: Work with Azure DevOps, Git, Salesforce DX, Gearset, CI/CD pipelines, sandbox management, automated testing, and controlled production deployments.
- Architecture improvement and operations: Assess technical debt, evaluate code-versus-configuration alternatives, improve data models and security, contribute to architecture roadmaps, and maintain technical documentation and disaster-recovery procedures.

- Advanced hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, asynchronous processing, Salesforce security, data modeling, governor limits, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with enterprise integrations, MuleSoft or comparable middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, and troubleshooting complex cross-system issues.
- Experience with Git-based source control, code reviews, release management, and CI/CD deployment practices.
- Salesforce architecture certification with verifiable credentials.
- Strong technical communication skills and ability to independently lead design discussions while actively contributing to development.
