Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, client-facing Salesforce Technical Architect who combines deep Salesforce technical expertise with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and solution leadership. The architect will lead technical discovery and solution design, translate business goals into secure and scalable Salesforce solutions, guide engineering teams, and own key technical decisions across delivery. Experience in Financial Services (FINS) or Healthcare is strongly preferred, along with relevant Salesforce cloud experience in the applicable domain. The successful candidate must communicate complex technical concepts clearly, facilitate design discussions, lead architecture reviews, and build client confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage architecture and technical delivery across multiple projects or workstreams concurrently, balancing priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Provide clear direction to delivery teams and maintain consistent architecture standards across engagements.

  • Lead client-facing technical discovery, architecture workshops, requirement clarification, and solution design sessions.
  • Translate business objectives and functional requirements into end-to-end Salesforce solution architectures.
  • Define solution architecture across Salesforce clouds, integrations, data, security, environments, and deployment processes.
  • Create and review architecture diagrams, solution design documents, integration patterns, data flows, and technical decision records.
  • Assess declarative versus programmatic implementation options and guide teams toward maintainable, scalable solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to Salesforce Leads, Developers, QA, integration teams, and other delivery contributors.
  • Review designs and code for quality, security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and alignment with Salesforce platform limits and best practices.
  • Guide integration architecture, API design, error handling, resiliency, monitoring, and cross-system data consistency.
  • Define data architecture and advise on data modeling, migration, quality, ownership, and governance.
  • Establish technical standards for code quality, reusable components, automation, testing, CI/CD, release management, and environment strategy.
  • Identify architecture risks, technical dependencies, delivery constraints, and non-functional requirements early.
  • Work with delivery leadership to estimate technical effort, assess trade-offs, manage technical risks, and support delivery planning.
  • Lead architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, demos, and technical presentations for client and internal stakeholders.
  • Support defect triage and root-cause analysis for complex production and integration issues.
  • Evaluate platform capabilities and recommend practical modernization opportunities aligned with business value.
