Job summary

NCDHHS ITD is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Expert/Architect to lead the DCDEE Early Education Integration System. This role designs secure, scalable, user-focused Salesforce and integrations aligned with the digital strategy, bridging business needs with robust architecture.

You will lead end-to-end design, collaborate with stakeholders and developers, and drive implementation of complex integrations while maintaining security and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of architecting and developing complex Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with data migration strategies and ETL tools.
• Experience guiding development teams on platform usage and best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions and guide technical strategies.
• Collaborate with SMEs, tech leads, and stakeholders to translate business scope into architecture.
• Design and lead implementation of complex API-based integrations connecting Salesforce with external systems.
• Ensure solutions meet data security and performance standards; design backups and restore strategies.
• Lead code reviews, design sessions, and release planning with the Agile team.
• Collaborate on environment setup and CI/CD release management.
