The Salesforce Solution Engineer will support and enhance the PATH NC child welfare system, ensuring a stable, secure, and user-centered Salesforce platform integrated with MuleSoft, Power BI, Synapse, and mainframe technologies.
This role leads the design, configuration, and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions while maintaining system reliability, meeting defined data-quality standards, and implementing strong security and governance practices. The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues within established SLAs, translate stakeholder needs into enhancements that improve adoption and measurable workflow efficiency, and guide integration and data-flow improvements across connected systems. The position also evaluates and introduces new technologies, modernizes the platform through incremental improvements, and ensures alignment with evolving policy, practice, and user needs.
Success in this role requires clear communication, leadership, and long-term strategic planning to keep the system accessible, sustainable, and effective for frontline staff serving children and families.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive experience in business application consulting or development

Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of progressive experience in business application consulting or development
OR
High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and eight years of experience in business application consulting or development
