What we’re looking for:

The Perch Energy Technology team, a joint venture with Arcadia Power, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to join the team and be part of our mission to build an industry-leading Community Solar platform. This role will help us build a best-in-class platform that makes clean, local energy accessible to everyone. You’ll play a key role indesigning and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions, while guiding teammates on developmentbest practices and embracing new tools and approaches.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, build, and maintain complex Salesforce applications
  • Lead design discussions and develop specs for epics and stories
  • Balance configuration vs. custom code thoughtfully
  • Create and maintain unit tests with strong code coverage
  • Solve complex issues and recommend scalable solutions
  • Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to DevOps efforts
  • Stay current with the Salesforce ecosystem and best practices
  • Provide production support as needed

What will help you succeed:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficiency with declarative tools (Flows, Lightning Pages, etc.)
  • Experience with API integrations and CI/CD pipelines
  • Salesforce certifications (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Zuora, NetSuite, Conga, or Boomi(preferred)

Target Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $130,000- $170,000 plus an incentive package. There will also be a competitive benefits and equity component to the package. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
