Job summary

Alithya is seeking a Salesforce Senior Solutions Architect - Field Service in Austin, TX (Remote). You will design and guide implementations that help service organizations work more efficiently in the field, partnering with clients and delivery teams to shape scalable solutions from discovery through launch and adoption.

You will lead discovery sessions, design end-to-end Field Service solutions, translate business requirements into designs, and guide integrations with CRM/ERP/inventory/billing

Qualifications

• Salesforce Field Service Consultant certifications and/or equivalent hands‑on expertise.
• 5+ years of consulting experience implementing Salesforce Field Service for complex ops.
• Experience leading multiple full lifecycle deployments.
• Hands‑on Salesforce platform experience: configuration, security, reporting.
• Experience with mobile Field Service, offline use, and technician adoption.
• Experience with complex scheduling/dispatch and SLAs.
• Experience with Agile and distributed teams.
• Industry experience in utilities, telecom, manufacturing, or equipment services.
• Strong understanding of field service operations and ESO.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and leadership levels.

Your role, your impact

As a Salesforce Senior Solutions Architect - Field Service , you’ll design and guide implementations that help service organizations work more efficiently and effectively in the field. You’ll partner with clients and delivery teams to understand business needs, shape scalable solutions, and guide projects from discovery through launch and adoption.

Lead discovery sessions to understand service processes, pain points, priorities, dependencies, risks, and success measures;

Design end-to-end Salesforce Field Service solutions, including service territories, work order management, scheduling and optimization, inventory management, asset management, dispatcher user experience, and offline technician mobile experience;

Translate business requirements into solution designs, process flows, and implementation plans;

Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized delivery backlogs that provide delivery teams with relevant, clear, and testable requirements;

Advise clients on configuration and customization choices, balancing immediate needs with long-term maintainability;

Guide integrations between Salesforce Field Service and systems such as CRM, ERP, inventory, billing, and customer service platforms;

Provide architectural guidance on security and visibility, data migration, reporting, and platform performance;

Perform declarative Salesforce configuration using platform tools, reports, dashboards, and automation capabilities where appropriate;

Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenarios, test scripts, issue triage, and business signoff;

Support deployment, change management, user training, and post-launch improvement.

Keys to your success

Salesforce Field Service Consultant and Certified Service Cloud Consultant Certifications or equivalent hands‑on expertise;

5+ years of consulting experience implementing Salesforce Field Service for clients with complex service operations and large user populations;

Experience leading or contributing to multiple full lifecycle implementations, from discovery through deployment and support;

Hands‑on Salesforce platform experience, including configuration, data modeling, security, automation, reporting, scalability, and performance considerations;

Experience with Salesforce mobile solutions, offline use cases, and technician adoption;

Experience with complex scheduling, optimization, service‑level agreements, or high-volume dispatch;

Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and distributed development teams;

Experience in industries such as utilities, telecommunications, manufacturing, or equipment services;

Strong understanding of field service operations and industry best practices, including Scheduling and Optimization (ESO);

Proven ability to collaborate across teams and leadership levels to deliver projects on time and on budget.
