Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer with deep Salesforce expertise to build and maintain automated security tools for Salesforce orgs.

You will apply Salesforce security architecture knowledge to develop evaluations, detections, and guidance for service owners across AWS environments. You will design, code, and ship security tooling on AWS infrastructure and Salesforce platforms, partnering with SecOps to align platform configurations with enterprise security requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SOQL for data extraction and security detection.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Experience building automated security scanning and evaluation tools on Salesforce/AWS stacks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated security scanning and evaluation capabilities for Salesforce org configurations.
• Develop detections for configuration changes that introduce security risk and create escalation workflows.
• Collaborate with service owners and security teams to implement secure Salesforce configurations.
