Job summary

Cherokee Federal, a trusted partner for federal clients, seeks a detail-oriented Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce apps through comprehensive testing. An active Public Trust or the ability to obtain a Public Trust is required for consideration.

The role requires strong Salesforce knowledge, hands-on testing experience, and collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and administrators to align test coverage with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Salesforce certified (Administrator preferred).
• 4+ years general work experience.
• Experience testing enterprise software solutions.
• 3 years of troubleshooting software.
• Experience in Salesforce and Agile development processes.
• Public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Salesforce functionality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to gather requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Salesforce applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using a defect tracking system.
• Create and maintain test data and test environments.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools to streamline testing.
• Participate in release management and review deployment plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with end-to-end business workflows.
• Continuously improve QA processes and stay updated on Salesforce releases.
