Rate: $81/hour W2 (all-inclusive) or $90/hour 1099/C2C

Work Arrangement: Primarily remote; one in-person day in Columbus every two weeks

Position Overview

The Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY) is seeking an experienced Salesforce Program Manager 4 (PM4)to lead the planning, implementation, governance, and operations of its Salesforce program.

The Program Manager will oversee Salesforce organization setup, application development and rewrites, multiple concurrent projects, vendor coordination, governance, risk management, and delivery. This role requires strong program leadership, business process analysis, workflow automation, and stakeholder management skills to ensure projects meet business, technical, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT project management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently.
• 5+ years of business process analysis experience.
• 3+ years of Salesforce experience.
• 3+ years of workflow automation experience.
• Experience managing complex software development, website development, or technology implementation projects.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and governance.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent technical study.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Define and drive the Salesforce program vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan.
• Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce projects, including schedules, budgets, deliverables, resources, and quality.
• Governance & Risk Management: Establish governance processes, identify project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with DCY leadership, business subject matter experts, internal IT teams, and multiple vendors.
• Salesforce Implementation: Oversee Salesforce organization setup, application rewrites, platform operations, and enterprise integrations.
• Business Process Improvement: Analyze business workflows and implement Salesforce automation and process improvements.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate Salesforce implementation partners, strategic consultants, and project teams.
• Change Management & Training: Support user adoption, training programs, onboarding, and enablement resources.
• Reporting & Communication: Conduct status meetings, track milestones and action items, prepare reports, and communicate project progress to leadership.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain project charters, work breakdown structures, project schedules, implementation plans, test plans, and deployment plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementations.
• PMP certification.
• Experience leading digital workflow automation projects.
• Experience establishing governance processes for enterprise Salesforce programs.
