Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Technical Architect to lead architecture and design for financial services, health care, and public sector solutions. The role requires hands-on expertise with Salesforce FSC, Sales/Service/Experience Clouds, and integration patterns.

Position Overview

The Salesforce Enterprise Technical Architect is a hands-on technical architect with the ability to provide design, present ideation, and build POC independently for various solutions related for the financial service industry (retail, wealth management, and insurance), health care (payor, provider) or for state and local government agencies.

Responsibilities

Provide Salesforce and subject matter expertise to one of the verticals mentioned above

Establish best practices for implementing Salesforce components/modules, enforce governance and mentor developers to follow established best practices

Be able to guide and advise our customers on AI-related capabilities and use cases and how Salesforce products can enable AI capabilities for the customer

Be able define relevant AI use cases for the customers and build POC to demonstrate AI capabilities

Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable technical architecture and design specifications

Create and own architectural artifacts, such as

• Functional / reference architecture
• Technical architecture
• Data flow diagram
• Integration strategy
• Best practices and other artifacts

Present recommendations to senior management and demonstrated confidence in presenting solution options and recommendations

Review various solution options, define pros/cons, and made a recommendation based on clients specific needs leveraging financial services industry expertise and knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud

Conduct discovery sessions with client stakeholders and document outcomes, design appropriate solution, and architecture based on information gathered

Be in consultative and advisory role to effectively guide and advise clients on overall technical solutions and architecture

Review and evaluate potential Salesforce capabilities or tools for client specific needs or for additional competencies

Contribute towards growth of the practice by building additional competencies or accelerators

Partner with other functions across IT (Leads, Scrum Master, BA, EA, Security, Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, and timeliness of solutions

Participate in the delivery of custom solutions that follow scaled Agile (SAFe) framework methodology

Ensure self and development team adheres to known design and development patterns and standards of Salesforce

Work closely with other architects to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and exploration of industry standards and technology advances

Technical Knowledge/Skills

Deep understanding of financial services industry, health care industry, or public sector, especially retail banking, wealth management, insurance, payor, or various state and local government agencies, along with expert understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), or Health Cloud, or public sector (Government Cloud) cloud is required

Expert knowledge in Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, Data 360, AI force and Force.com platform

Deep understanding of AppExchange products/packages

Experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party solutions, including AppExchange apps and external APIs

Must have strong technology passion and willingness to learn new Salesforce features (Agentforce etc.) and come up with technology thought leadership in this space

Execute solution design activities, such as application architecture, API interactions, Lightning web framework, application security, data modeling/mapping, integration approach and data flows

Strong experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, and custom development

Proficient knowledge of object-oriented programming principles

Expert knowledge of data architecture, identity and access management, platform security controls, and enterprise integration patterns

Working knowledge of DevOps toolset (Copado, Gearset, DX), test-driven development (TDD) and behavior driven development (BDD) practices

Contribute to the strategic vision, technical approach, and roadmap for Salesforce within the financial services industry

Advanced knowledge of industry best practices in the various aspects of IT, technology trends, and enterprise operations knowledge and the ability to develop solutions to implement key business strategies

Advanced knowledge of SDLC, code management concepts and platforms

Intermediate understanding of network and data center architecture as well as application development methodologies

General Knowledge/Skills

Very detailed oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to product various artifacts using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and similar tools

This person needs to have grown through the ranks and have prior hands-on experience as a developer on Salesforce platform

Multiple Salesforce Certifications are a must:

• Salesforce System Architect or Salesforce Application Architect
• Relevant certifications and accreditations related to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $148200.00 - $222400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
