Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Salesforce Engineer (Developer) in Washington, DC to design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions. You will develop with Apex, LWC, and Flows, and create integrations with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, strong data modeling and security knowledge, and experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery. A federal clearance is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development with Apex, LWC, Flows, and API integrations.
• Strong Salesforce data modeling, security, and declarative configuration understanding.
• REST, SOAP API design; asynchronous processing (Batch/Apex, Queueable, Scheduled Jobs).
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS; source control with Git; CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum; excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders.
• Active federal security clearance (Secret or higher) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Flows.
• Develop integrations to connect Salesforce with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and high-quality implementations.
• Support SDLC activities: design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, and QA in an Agile team.
• Contribute to code reviews and reusable engineering frameworks.
