Job summary

VXForward is seeking a skilled Salesforce release engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments. You will own end-to-end release management across Dev, QA, UAT, staging, and production, coordinating with developers, admins, and QA.

Responsibilities include managing GitHub-based version control for Salesforce metadata, automating deployments, and leveraging Salesforce CLI and Copado for environment management. Applicants must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Salesforce metadata and managing releases.
• Proficient with GitHub workflows and PR management.
• Hands-on Copado pipelines and environment management.
• Strong Salesforce CLI and Metadata API knowledge.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments, including pipeline configuration, promotion paths, and deployment automation.

Own end-to-end release management across the environment chain (Dev → QA → UAT → Staging → Production), coordinating release schedules with developers, admins, and QA.

Manage GitHub-based version control for Salesforce metadata: branching strategy, pull request workflows, merge conflict resolution, and commit hygiene.

Automate metadata deployments, environment provisioning, and sandbox seeding/refresh cycles.

Hands-on proficiency with the Salesforce CLI for metadata retrieval/deployment, org management, and scripting release workflows

Strong demonstrated skills in Copado (pipelines, deployments, environment management)

Working knowledge of the Salesforce Metadata API and package-based deployment
