Base pay range

$66.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Responsibilities

The position provides technical development for the Digital Transformation initiatives within MyCatFinancial, Mobile Quote Application, and Salesforce Sales & Service modules. This role focuses on delivering digital transformation solutions to enhance customer experience.

It requires a true developer to work with the business tech team to gather requirements for Salesforce development, mainly for Sales and Service modules. The role involves 90% development work, with a focus on REST API, Apex, and responsive web solutions supporting Caterpillar Financial's strategic initiatives (Aftermarket, Digital, Connectivity).

The candidate should understand the big picture, be proactive, and anticipate potential issues.

Ideal Candidate Experience/Skills

• Lightning development: proven ability to develop custom components/controllers
• Mobile app deployment experience
• Ionic framework and web components
• Angular framework knowledge
• Object-oriented programming
• Mobile site development
• Platform Developer II Certification (preferred)
• Apex Development, SOAP, and REST API experience
• Strong communication skills and creative thinking

Typical Day

Core hours are 9:00-5:00, with a mix of individual work and meetings. On-call hours may be required.

Education/Certification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Salesforce Certified, Platform Developer II

Technical Skills

5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, DataLoader API, and Salesforce Administration. VisualForce and ANT migration tools are required. Salesforce integration experience and security best practices are a plus.
