Job summary

Vitaver & Associates, Inc. seeks a Salesforce Developer to work onsite in Houston, TX, on a 12‑month contract. The role requires 6+ years of Salesforce development, Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, and integrations.

This is a remote-free, client-site assignment with relocation as needed. Collaboration with offshore teams and strong stakeholder engagement are expected. The candidate should hold Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certifications, a CSIS-related degree, and experience with APIs,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Expertise with Apex (triggers, classes, batch, scheduled, queueable, and future jobs).
• Proficiency with Lightning Web Components and Aura components.
• Experience with Visualforce pages, components, and controllers.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integrations and external services.
• Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, metadata, and security model.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the development lead to align on priorities and deliver high‑impact initiatives.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions across the full development stack.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using patterns and mechanisms.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to offshore development teams, including code reviews, ticket clarification, and unblocking work across time zones.
• Triage, diagnose, and resolve Salesforce production issues with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and administrators to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation, configuration, and platform components.

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non‑negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Houston, TX.
• Experience with Salesforce development (6+ years).
• Experience with Apex (triggers, classes, batch, scheduled, queueable, and future jobs).
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Aura Components.
• Experience with Visualforce (pages, components, and controllers).
• Experience with PDF generation within Salesforce via Visualforce rendering or third‑party document generation tools.
• Experience with Inbound REST APIs via @RestResource annotated Apex classes.
• Experience with Outbound REST callouts using HttpRequest/HttpResponse.
• Experience with Inbound SOAP web services via the webservice keyword.
• Experience with Outbound SOAP callouts via WSDL‑generated proxy classes.
• Experience with Event‑driven integration patterns (Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), Outbound Messages).
• Experience with Named Credentials, Auth Providers, and External Services.
• Experience with Middleware or ETL platforms such as MuleSoft or equivalent.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration (custom objects, fields, relationships, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, Custom Labels).
• Experience with Email Templates in Classic (text, HTML, Visualforce) and Lightning (Enhanced Letterhead, Lightning HTML) formats.
• Experience with Reports, Dashboards, and custom Report Types.
• Experience with Salesforce security model (Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Profiles, user management, role hierarchy, sharing rules).
• Experience with Flow (Screen, Auto‑launched, Record‑triggered, Scheduled Flows), validation rules, formula fields, roll‑up summary fields.
• Experience with Deployment tools (Change Sets, Salesforce DX, Metadata API).
• Experience with Salesforce data model and governor limits.
• Experience with GitHub (version control, branching strategies, pull requests, collaborative code management).
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or higher).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Experience with Vlocity Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Vlocity Product Console.
• Experience with OmniStudio (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors).
• Experience with Vlocity Templates and Document Templates.
