Job summary

ExtraHop seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and implement customized Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds. You will work with analysts, product managers, and admins to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable platforms.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, LWCs) and solid API integration experience (REST/SOAP).

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with Apex/Visualforce/Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement customized Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, PMs, and admins to meet requirements.
  • Lead best practices, code standards, and design decisions.
  • Configure declarative tools (Flows) and programmatic solutions.

Position Summary

The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, test, and implement customized Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and system administrators, to ensure the effective use of the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce development, problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning web components, and integrations.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical expert, guiding best practices, code standards, and design decisions.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Customization and Configuration: Implement Salesforce customizations using declarative tools (Flows) and programmatic solutions.
  • Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, or other tools.
  • Code Review & Best Practices: Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and company standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify areas of improvement within the Salesforce instance and recommend optimizations to enhance system performance.
  • Testing and Deployment: Develop and execute unit tests, perform debugging, and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions, integrations, and system processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand priorities and deliver timely solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new tools, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, best practices, and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., SFDX, Change Sets, Copado, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required).
  • Proficiency in source control systems (e.g., Git).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
  • Experience with Boomi, Heroku, or other middleware tools.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and data management best practices.
  • Experience in delivering Salesforce solutions in large enterprise environments.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $149,000 + bonus + benefits
