Rippling in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Salesforce Developer on our Business Systems team. You’ll own end-to-end solutions from requirements and architecture through build, deployment, and support, partnering with GTM owners.

Qualifications

• Deep Salesforce platform expertise and engineering patterns.
• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce development: Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flows.
• Full-stack fundamentals; HTML, CSS, JavaScript; web frameworks beyond Salesforce.
• Git and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development.
• Applied-AI solutioning - recognizing when an AI application is the right answer, and designing for it.
• Clear, precise communication and quick, structured thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Flows.
• Diagnose and resolve complex platform issues (async/bulk data processing, integrations).
• Determine the right solution - declarative, programmatic, an AI application, or outside the platform
• Build applied-AI solutions when they fit - e.g., an assistant or agent in place of a traditional form or page
• Contribute to adjacent systems and codebases - not your primary focus, but a regular part of the role
• Use AI tooling to move faster - development, codebase ramp-up, etc.
• Own the full lifecycle, from architecture through support
• Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions
