Job summary

Rippling in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Salesforce Developer on our Business Systems team. You’ll own end-to-end solutions from requirements and architecture through build, deployment, and support, partnering with GTM owners.

• Deep Salesforce platform expertise and engineering patterns.
• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce development: Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flows.
• Full-stack fundamentals; HTML, CSS, JavaScript; web frameworks beyond Salesforce.
• Git and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development.
• Applied-AI solutioning - recognizing when an AI application is the right answer, and designing for it.
• Clear, precise communication and quick, structured thinking.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As a Salesforce Developer on our Business Systems team, you'll own solutions end to end - from requirements and architecture through build, deployment, and support - partnering directly with GTM business owners and other systems owners. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role across our go-to-market systems. AI-assisted development is part of how we work.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions - Apex, LWC, Flows, etc.
• Diagnose and resolve complex platform issues - async/bulk data processing, integrations, etc.

Required

• Deep, platform-level Salesforce expertise and sound engineering patterns
• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce development: Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flows
• Full-stack development fundamentals; working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how web frameworks generalize beyond Salesforce
• Git and CI/CD
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development
• Applied-AI solutioning - recognizing when an AI application is the right answer, and designing for it
• Clear, precise communication and quick, structured thinking

Preferred

• Domain experience in Sales or Marketing
• React / TypeScript / Next.js, FastAPI / Python, Tailwind; general AI plumbing
• Working knowledge of web infrastructure and security
• Fluency with AI-native development workflows - MCP servers, agentic tooling, and structured prompting
• Familiarity with a GTM stack: Outreach, CPQ, billing concepts
• Salesforce Platform Developer I / II

The pay range for this role is

105,000 - 175,000 USD per year(US)
