Salesforce Developer / Architect
Responsibilities:
- Identify, define, and document problems or situations that require attention or improvement.
- Locate, collect, and organize information to understand problems and facilitate effective communication.
- Analyze complex situations by breaking them into components to understand their structure and reasons.
- Design and implement software solutions, including configuring systems and writing basic code.
- Construct, configure, and maintain complex Salesforce objects and processes.
- Create and update documentation.
- Follow system development standards and methodologies.
- Develop testing plans such as functional, integration, regression, and stress tests.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical consultation based on customer needs.
- Create process flows aligning customer needs with Salesforce solutions.
- Design and architect solutions, collaborating with development teams for large-scale projects.
- Validate solution components, present walkthroughs, and identify risks with mitigation plans.
- Guide teams across client engagements, providing technical leadership and best practices.
- Drive innovation by creating reusable components, tools, and accelerators, and promote their adoption.
- Architect solutions independently and participate hands-on in building Salesforce solutions.
- Be detail-oriented, quickly assimilate new concepts, and define system landscapes to identify gaps and deliver CRM solutions.
- Have foundational knowledge of Salesforce platform including Apex, triggers, Visualforce, etc.
- Experience with Lightning Framework, JavaScript frameworks, and design patterns.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce security practices.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and designing workflow rules.
- Remote work flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar.
- 8+ years IT experience, including 4+ years in cloud/on-premises architecture, development, and operations with DevOps.
- 4+ years CRM experience, with 2+ years as enterprise/platform architect.
- Experience with COTS solutions on cloud infrastructure like Salesforce, Microsoft .NET, Appian, etc., and REST APIs.
- Consulting experience preferred, including solution design and software development methods.
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with system integration, ETL processes, and Apex versioning.
- Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- 3+ years experience with LWC and Aura components.
- Experience leading large Salesforce programs end-to-end.
- Experience with geospatial development, map presentations, and topology validations.
