Job summary

Virtualan Software, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Salesforce Developer / Architect to support and contribute to Salesforce development initiatives. This highly client-facing role requires excellent communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

You will implement CI/CD environments, design and develop solutions on Salesforce Service, Sales, and Community clouds, and build integrations with external systems using Apex, LWC, and Salesforce CLI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Management, or a related STEM field.
• Understanding of and/or experience with Agile Methodology.
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience as a Mid-Level Developer within an Enterprise-level Salesforce Program.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and proven experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience developing Web Services, including JSON and XML, between Salesforce organizations and third-party applications.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, including classes and triggers, as well as Lightning Components/LWC, Aura, and Visualforce, to extend Salesforce and support business requirements.
• Experience with solutioning and developing Custom Objects, Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, Email Alerts, and communication templates.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Visual Studio Code.
• Certified Salesforce Advanced System Administrator.
• Certified Salesforce Developer, including Platform Developer I and/or II.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of version control systems, including Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience using JIRA or Agile Accelerator.

Responsibilities

• Perform solutioning, design, and development of business application functionality on the Salesforce platform.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, mapping business requirements to Salesforce best practices, capabilities, and features.
• Develop declarative solutions using Salesforce cloud offerings, including Service, Sales, and Community, as well as AppExchange solutions.
• Apply Salesforce best practices to provide operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes across the Salesforce.com platform.
• Support application solutions by collaborating closely with the Development Team.
• Provide technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and "+how-to" requests.
• Design and develop API integrations between Salesforce and external business systems.
• Assess project risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies while clearly communicating impacts across multiple channels.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
