We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and support of technology solutions within a clinical laboratory environment. In this role, you will work across various platforms including Salesforce, laboratory information systems, middleware, diagnostic instruments, and other healthcare applications. Your primary focus will be to improve system connectivity, automate workflows, streamline data flow, and enhance operational reliability. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional who is comfortable working at the intersection of software development, systems integration, and healthcare technology. You will take ownership of both new development initiatives and ongoing production support, ensuring that our healthcare systems operate seamlessly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess over three years of experience in software development, systems engineering, healthcare IT, laboratory technology, or related integration roles. Hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other related technologies, is essential. Candidates should have a strong background in SQL and relational databases, with the ability to query, troubleshoot, and work with structured data effectively. Experience working with APIs, web services, and application integration technologies such as HL7, ASTM, REST APIs, or TCP/IP is highly desirable. A solid understanding of healthcare data standards and laboratory instrument-to-system interfaces is preferred. Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field; however, equivalent professional experience and technical expertise may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Your responsibilities will include developing, enhancing, testing, and maintaining applications and technology solutions that support laboratory and healthcare operations. You will build and maintain interfaces connecting laboratory instruments, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS/LIMS), Salesforce, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow. Developing integrations using HL7, ASTM, REST APIs, and web services will be a key aspect of your role. You will create automation scripts, reports, database solutions, and other tools to improve workflow efficiency, system reliability, and data quality. Troubleshooting application, integration, database, and workflow issues across development, testing, and production environments will be a regular part of your duties. Additionally, you will participate in system implementations, upgrades, releases, testing, validation, and deployment activities. Collaborating closely with laboratory operations, IT teams, business users, vendors, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver practical, scalable solutions will be essential to your success.
