We're looking for a Salesforce Developer who knows the difference between "just another CRM" and a true platform for transformation.
At Aviture, we believe great software doesn't just support business—it changes what's possible. We're expanding our work with a long-standing customer who's ready to fully leverage the power of Salesforce, and we need someone who can help turn the platform into a well-oiled machine that drives smarter, faster decisions.
This is a role where you'll serve as the face of Aviture's Salesforce capability. You won't just be customizing objects—you'll be building tools that real people use to make smarter decisions, faster. You'll lead the design, development, and integration of Salesforce solutions that don't just work—they work well.
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
- Collaborating closely with the customer and Aviture team to understand workflows, pain points, and goals, and then solving for those with Salesforce.
- Developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow Builder.
- Building robust data models, custom objects, and integrations with external systems via APIs.
- Creating clean, maintainable code and automations that make business processes seamless and scalable.
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions, and helping stakeholders understand both.
- Maintaining and improving Salesforce configurations, workflows, permission sets, and validation rules.
- Helping define and establish best practices and reusable components for future Salesforce engagements.
You'll be working as a member of a Salesforce development team within a high-impact environment, with the freedom to shape solutions and the backing of a team that's got your back.
If you're looking to build more than just features, and want to help build a capability, let's talk.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience writing real-world Salesforce code.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, etc.).
- Ability to speak both "developer" and "business" - you can turn a vague idea into working software and explain it.
- A self-starter mindset - you're comfortable working remotely and building trust through consistent, high-quality delivery.
- This position does require a minimum of a Secret level DoD Clearance
Bonus Points If You:
- Hold certifications like Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or Advanced Administrator.
- Have experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
- Know the pitfalls of over-customization - and when to extend vs. when to configure.
- Have built in highly regulated or secure environments and understand the governance needs that come with them.
- CompTIA Certification
- IAT Level III Certification such as Security+
Benefits
- PPO or a High Deductible Health Plan, HSA eligible plan, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Life.
- Generous paid time off that starts accruing on day one
- Hybrid work environment with quarterly Castaway Week events in the Omaha HQ Office, all expenses paid, from across the country to participate in team-building, collaboration, and fun events
- Company vacations!!! Previous destinations have included Napa Valley, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas and Aspen
- Matching 401k with 100% vesting in six months
- Pick your preferred workstation! Mac? PC? We'll support you with the tech you need to do your best work
- Get paid to go to national and international conferences and training, so that you can stay up to date with the latest innovations
- Flexible work schedules: Work the times that fits your schedule, with all meetings required to be scheduled between 9 am and 3 pm CST
- Free lunch every Friday and recurring team events for you and your family to enjoy
- Incentive and bonus pay.
- Opportunities for connection and growth through peer coaching, recurring Lightning Talks to share things we're passionate about, and a bi-weekly company-wide All Hands
