Job summary

Sweet James Accident Attorneys is seeking a Salesforce Developer to build and maintain automations, screens, and integrations used by our case teams. The role centers on Litify on Salesforce, owning from request through release, and connecting to AI tooling.

You will write Apex, maintain Lightning Web Components, and implement REST API integrations while adhering to security and data-handling best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Salesforce development on a production org.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong Apex, SOQL, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Data and security model: working knowledge of objects, profiles, permission sets, sharing, and governor limits.
• Release discipline: Git and a sandbox-based release process.
• Excellent communication: able to explain technical work to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Build: Write and maintain Apex classes and triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components on Litify.
• Deliver: Convert intake, case management, and accounting tickets into small, well-tested changes; fix bugs reported by staff.
• Release: Work in sandboxes, commit via Git PRs, and move changes through the DevOps Center pipeline.
• Integrate: Connect Salesforce with the firm’s AI tools via REST APIs and platform events.
• Secure: Enforce correct permissions, sharing, and data handling for client/medical information.

The systems behind that result are built in-house, and you will be one of the people building them. Sweet James is seeking a Salesforce Developer to build and maintain the automations, screens, and integrations our case teams use every day. Our firm runs on Salesforce: Every case, from the first phone call to the final settlement check, lives in Litify, the legal case-management platform built on Salesforce. Litify is the system of record the firm's AI runs on, so your work is its plumbing. You will own your areas from request through release (e.g., task automation, retainer agreements signed through DocuSign, case management, fee splits, settlements) and connect them to the AI engineering team's systems.

Responsibilities

• Build: Write and maintain Apex classes and triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components on Litify.
• Deliver: Work Jira tickets from intake, case management, and accounting, scoped with the Senior Salesforce Developer, and turn them into small, well-tested changes. Fix the bugs staff report in your areas.
• Release: Work in sandboxes, commit through Git pull requests, and move changes through our Salesforce DevOps Center pipeline.
• Integrate: Build and support the connections between Salesforce and the firm's AI tools (e.g., REST APIs, platform events).
• Secure: Respect profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules, and handle client and medical information safely.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of Salesforce development on a production org.
• Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Platform: Strong Apex, SOQL, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Data and security model: Working command of objects, profiles, permission sets, sharing, and governor limits.
• Release discipline: Git and a sandbox-based release process.
• Communication: The ability to explain your work to staff who are not technical.

Preferred

• Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer II.
• Domain systems: Litify or another legal case-management system; DocuSign for Salesforce.
• Tooling: Salesforce CLI and CI/CD tools (e.g., Salesforce DevOps Center, GitHub, GitHub Actions).
• Industry: Law firm, insurance, or healthcare.
