Job Description
We are seeking a strong hands-on Salesforce Lead Developer with expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience designing customer data architectures, integrating multiple enterprise data sources, building unified customer profiles, and enabling personalized customer engagement through Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong Salesforce development/configuration skills along with the ability to contribute to solution design and lead technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and customer data models.
- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from enterprise systems including CRM, claims, enrollment, web, mobile, and third-party platforms.
- Configure and manage Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Calculated Insights, and Identity Resolution.
- Build unified customer profiles / Customer 360 capabilities across multiple enterprise systems.
- Design audience segmentation strategies and activation frameworks for personalized customer experiences.
- Configure consent management, privacy, and customer data governance capabilities.
- Monitor and optimize Data Cloud performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Design and implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Work hands-on with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Audience Builder.
- Develop personalized engagement campaigns utilizing Data Cloud audiences and segmentation.
- Configure automated customer journeys and real-time activation use cases.
- Integrate Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and external enterprise platforms.
- Support campaign analytics, customer engagement reporting, and attribution requirements.
- Provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in development, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Experience configuring Data Streams, DLOs, DMOs, Calculated Insights, and Identity Resolution.
- Strong understanding of Customer 360 and unified customer profiles.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and/or Audience Builder.
- Strong experience integrating Salesforce with multiple enterprise and third-party data sources.
- Experience with audience segmentation, activation, and personalized customer journeys.
- Knowledge of customer consent management and data governance.
- Experience designing and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Experience developing, configuring, or deploying applications on Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills with the ability to work in a hands-on capacity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; additional hands‑on Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work onsite 1 day per week from Alpharetta, GA; Oakland, CA; or Rancho Cordova, CA
