Job summary

Slate is seeking a Salesforce Development Engineer to lead the CRM system's design, implementation, and delivery in a fast-paced startup environment in the USA. You will work with sales, support, and the Slate Digital team to optimize Salesforce experiences and integrations.

With 3+ years in Salesforce, Apex, LWC, and Visualforce, you’ll own the full lifecycle from code to deployment, mentor others, and influence long-term technology choices.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional Salesforce implementations.
• 3+ years programming on Salesforce Apex, LWC, Visualforce.
• 2+ years with Sales, Marketing, and Service Cloud.
• 2+ years with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Messaging for in-app and web components.
• Experience CTI for Salesforce (Amazon Connect a plus).
• Experience Omnichannel case automation.
• SF admin tasks experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition, design, architecture, implementation, and delivery of Slate’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with sales and support to optimize Salesforce experience.
• Work with Slate Digital team to ensure Salesforce integrations with other systems.
• Own end-to-end quality from code to deployment and support.
• Drive innovation and sound judgment in technical decisions.
• Be an authority on Salesforce solutions and advise on trade-offs.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to career growth.
