The Salesforce Consulting Senior is responsible for developing technical solutions that exceed client expectations, anticipate business needs and simplify processes. This includes technical development, innovative solution design, leading client calls, creating client touch points, training, and building custom reports.

Responsibilities

• Build architecture (objects, fields, page layouts) and automation (workflow rules, process builders, approval processes) on the Salesforce platform
• Build declarative components (Apps, Lightning Pages) in Salesforce Lightning
• Create on-record analytics (roll-up fields, formula fields, report generation) in Salesforce
• Configure the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) objects, custom settings, and account model
• Install and configure applications from the Salesforce AppExchange and proprietary applications as needed
• Define data model and system architecture based on business requirements
• Create technical documentation, including data flows
• Provide solution recommendations and discuss data model considerations with clients
• Design mockups of custom pages
• Prototype solutions and incorporate feedback for iterative development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; Management or Technology Consulting preferred. Salesforce Administrator Certification (Admin 201) required
• Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Data Loader, and DemandTools
• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Advanced Administrator (Admin 301)
• Experience with databases and building custom applications on Salesforce
• Experience creating decision models from complex logic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
• Ability to travel approximately 5%
