Salesforce Architect

Full Time, Remote

We are seeking a Salesforce Architect/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. This position will play a key role in supporting and delivering Salesforce projects, working under the guidance of the product line Technical Director and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet our clients' business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist in the architecture, planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, scope, and budget.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of Salesforce to implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with clients, business analysts, developers, and other teams to gather requirements, configure solutions, and provide technical support.
  • Risk Identification: Help identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure Salesforce solutions meet high standards of performance, security, and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical specifications and progress reports.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends, contributing to process improvements and innovation.
  • Client Support: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Change Control Support: Participate in product change control board activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 8+ years of experience (or commensurate experience).
  • Must have VA enterprise experience.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect/SME
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, customization, and integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (highly desired)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Jira, Teams, and GitHub.
