Description

Our team is a leading provider of Digital Transformation services for Federal agencies. We focus on offering a full range of architecture and planning, system implementation, integration, analytics, and O&M for our customers.

We are seeking a Salesforce Architect to join a Salesforce Center of Excellence as a senior technical advisor, platform technical lead, and deployment specialist. Support will span from pre-sales solution consultation, design/code reviews during implementation, management of the CI/CD process, and operational support activities. The candidate will help establish new platform services, technology standards, security standards, change management processes, etc., for large federal agencies.

The candidate must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full software development lifecycle. Prior experience with establishing a salesforce.com Center of Excellence emphasizing governance, multi-Org rollout strategies, platform services, and Release and Change Management Processes, including DevOps and CI/CD, is required. Experience in providing program oversight and technical architecture for Salesforce applications is essential. The role requires excellent analytical, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. As a Salesforce SME, you will help the client maximize their Salesforce investment.

This is a client-facing SME role supporting the client in maximizing their Salesforce investment.

Candidates must be available during Eastern Time business hours to align with core team schedules. US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card) preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Architectural Review Board, analyzing technical architecture designs, code & configuration, sharing models, integrations, and overall solution strategy, including Org strategy, migration, and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
  • Manage Change and Release processes for Salesforce applications using DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Support pre-sales activities by engaging with prospective customers, conducting discovery, mapping requirements, identifying gaps, and preparing solution recommendations.
  • Assist onboarding new CoE project teams onto the platform for development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to define technical development and security guidelines for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure team deliverables meet best practices.
  • Guide on master data management, including data capture, indexing, cleansing, and security.
  • Manage source code repositories for Salesforce applications.
  • Recommend and implement Salesforce integration strategies with various business systems.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of software development and system design experience.
  • 5+ years as lead Architect on large Salesforce implementations, including Experience Cloud.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Flows, Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, APIs, Reports, Dashboards, and AppExchange utilities.
  • 3+ years Release Management experience.
  • 2+ years with OmniStudio and Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
  • 1+ years supporting US Federal/State clients.
  • Must pass Federal Suitability requirements.
  • Reside and work in the United States.
Preferred
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
  • Certified Application or System Architect.
  • Experience on Federal Salesforce projects.
  • Experience with Salesforce Shield, Data Migration, SSO, and web services.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party solutions and using Mulesoft and APIs.
