Job summary

V Group Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Salesforce Architect for a 9-month engagement with potential extension. The role supports the State of Ohio as end client, focusing on Apex, LWC, and Auracomponents, plus platform configuration and deployment processes.

Responsibilities include development, declarative configuration, debugging, testing, and ensuring code quality with 75–80% coverage. Onsite work five days a week; collaboration with tax department and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or CS.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Salesforce platform development experience and data model understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Auracomponents.
• Build declarative solutions utilizing Salesforce automation tools, advanced Flows, custom objects, validation rules, and security controls.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software errors, bottlenecks, and data integration issues.
• Maintain clean, well-documented code and write robust test classes to achieve 75–80% code coverage and participate in peer code reviews.
• Manage application lifecycles, sandboxes, and deployments using GitHub and CI/CD deployment tools.
