The Principal Solution Architect collaborates with business and technology teams to successfully integrate Salesforce systems and components, overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and administration of complex Salesforce-driven enterprise solutions.

What you will do
  • Contribute to defining Salesforce architecture models, solution patterns, and implementation guidelines aligned with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce best practices.
  • Analyze and translate DSD, retail execution, and consumer goods business requirements into conceptual Salesforce architectures and high‑level system designs.
  • Develop conceptual models of how field sales representatives, merchandisers, route drivers, and retail users interact with Salesforce solutions.
  • Review existing Salesforce and adjacent systems to determine improvement or modernization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams to create Salesforce solutions and integration diagrams.
  • Identify organizational impact on people, processes, technology, and financials.
  • Evaluate Salesforce products and third‑party ISV solutions and their integration into the architecture.
  • Shepherd Salesforce solution design and implementation while resolving architectural issues with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Architect and extend Salesforce Consumer Goods Retail Execution (CGRE) applications, including visit planning, in‑store execution, surveys, tasks, and mobile offline experiences.
  • Apply Einstein AI and analytics capabilities to enable insights‑driven decision‑making, predictive recommendations, and performance optimization for field sales and retail execution teams.
  • Design and implement Salesforce Agentforce and AI‑powered experiences to support intelligent automation, guided selling, and field productivity use cases across DSD and retail execution workflows.
  • Ensure resiliency, availability, scalability, performance, and maintainability of Salesforce solutions.
  • Research emerging Salesforce features and industry trends.
Who you are
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies with experience delivering Salesforce solutions in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Ideally have a strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem supporting Consumer Goods, DSD, and retail execution.
  • Preferred hands‑on experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, and intelligent automation features in enterprise Salesforce implementations.
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions using Salesforce low‑code/no‑code tools, balancing speed of delivery with architectural rigor.
  • Experience with Salesforce development technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in Salesforce solution delivery orchestration.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into executable Salesforce roadmaps.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate future‑state Consumer Goods and DSD capabilities into Salesforce architecture.
  • Commitment to mentoring and developing team members.
Total Rewards
  • Salary Range: $97,000 – 135,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors.
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401(k) with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement.
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility.
Requirements
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, System Analysis) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically 10–12+ years of experience in IT and business/industry, including strategic and operations planning.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations.
  • Experience working in multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Native‑level proficiency/fluent in English.
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments (preferred).
