Job summary

First National Bank is seeking an Experienced Application Administrator or Systems Analyst to manage and optimize the Salesforce platform and related infrastructure. You will collaborate with business units and vendors to implement enhancements, ensure performance, and support reporting needs.

The role requires hands-on patching, deployments, monitoring, and participation in agile ceremonies. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with in-person collaboration and remote work days.

Summary of the Job:

Work with business stakeholders and engineers to administer Salesforce platform to meet business needs.

About This Role:

  • Maintain, install, and configure system application and supporting infrastructure to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor, patch and deploy changes on the application and supporting infrastructure.
  • Testing and facilitating end user business testing on application functions and upgrades.
  • Performance, reliability, and maintenance of assigned applications(s) including completion of upgrades and implementations
  • Work closely with capability owner, business units, and third‑party vendors in order to lead system enhancements
  • Performs escalation support and issue resolution through research across multiple systems and data
  • Provide input into the application roadmap for further improvement and development as an expert on the assigned applications
  • Analyze new data requests and create recommendations for the development of new system reporting.
  • Seeks opportunity to learn, automate, document, share, educate, and improve Enterprise processes and systems.
  • Provides metrics and other documentation to support analysis and findings.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains reports.
  • Coordinate, track and respond to data needs and requests from business unit
  • Identify, develop, and recommend training opportunities that meet and support end user needs.
  • Lead assigned team projects, contribute to agile team ceremonies, and assists team members in decision making, planning and execution.
  • Lead requirements analysis with stakeholders ensuring that requirements are complete, consistent, concise, and comprehensive.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring others with less experience on the team
  • Collaborates with peers to develop best practices as well as iterative continuous improvement ideas and recommendations in support of driving business value and reducing technical debt
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations as applicable to your job duties.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on application training and certifications.
  • 24/7 critical incident response is required

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Experienced Application Administrator or Systems Analyst with a proven track record of managing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications and supporting infrastructure, including hands‑on experience with patching, deployments, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills with the ability to perform escalation support, troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems, analyze data requests, and develop actionable reporting recommendations that drive business value.
  • Effective Collaborator and Communicator who can confidently partner with business units, capability owners, and third‑party vendors to lead system enhancements, gather requirements, and translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Agile Team Contributor and Emerging Leader with experience leading project work, participating in agile ceremonies, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that reduce technical debt and improve enterprise processes.
  • Committed to Growth and Compliance with a proactive approach to learning, documentation, and automation – including maintaining current application certifications and training – while demonstrating a thorough understanding of banking policies, regulations, and the demands of a 24/7 critical incident response environment.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $69,616.00-$114,867.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in‑person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you’ll experience the energy and relationship‑building of face‑to‑face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
