Responsibilities and Assignments
Develop Salesforce applications and provide ongoing support by:
- Consulting with end users to identify, investigate, and solve process and data requirements based on priorities.
- Creating user stories and test cases for business enhancements identified through discovery.
- Ensuring proper implementation of Salesforce solutions to meet business needs, leveraging out-of-the-box features, and reducing complexity.
- Collaborating with Application & Infra teams to implement standard processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of technical experience with Salesforce CRM/Sales Cloud/Core Platform.
- Experience in business and systems analysis, application design, and Salesforce configuration, customization, security, data validation, duplicate management, process flows, and data import/export.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B is a plus.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile application architectures.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration, API maintenance, and scalability.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (current maintenance required); additional certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with Cloud Architecture DevOps tools like Flosum, Gearset, or Copado is a plus.
- Proficiency in translating business logic into Salesforce declarative capabilities.
Additional Activities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce enhancements.
- Work with project managers and users to review requirements and create functional specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application errors.
- Evaluate Salesforce releases and determine impact on users.
- Perform basic and advanced admin tasks, including process automation, permissions management, report/dashboard creation, security, and data management.
- Coordinate Salesforce integration with other applications like SAP ERP.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to design new features.
- Provide first-line support for Help Desk tickets.
