Job description

Salesforce AdministratorDigital Transformation & Enterprise Enablement (DT&EE)Position SummaryBankers Financial Corporation (BFC) is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to own the day to day configuration, performance, and governance of Salesforce across BFC and its subsidiaries. This role administers a shared, multi-org or multi-business-unit Salesforce environment that supports distinct product lines and sales processes across the enterprise. Beyond system administration, this person is the primary point of contact for salespeople and other end users across the subsidiaries, providing hands-on guidance, best-practice recommendations, and ongoing knowledge sharing so the sales organization gets full value out of the platform. The Salesforce Administrator translates requirements from subsidiary stakeholders into scalable platform solutions while protecting a single set of data, security, and automation standards across the holding company.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and continuously optimize Salesforce across all BFC subsidiaries, ensuring the platform reflects each business unit's sales process while adhering to one enterprise data model and governance standard.Serve as the go-to point of contact for salespeople and other end users across subsidiaries, fielding day-to-day questions and providing guidance on how to use Salesforce effectively within their specific sales process.Advise subsidiary sales teams on best practices for pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and data entry, recommending workflow or configuration changes that remove friction and improve adoption.Build and maintain a knowledge-sharing cadence with sales users, including tip sheets, office hours, release-update briefings, and a living FAQ, so best practices spread across subsidiaries rather than staying siloed with power users.Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and territory structures so that subsidiary teams see the data relevant to their business without compromising enterprise-wide security.Build and maintain declarative automation (Flow, validation rules, approval processes) to support sales, underwriting referral, and service workflows for each subsidiary, retiring legacy workflow rules and process builder in favor of current best practice.Own data quality across the shared org, including deduplication, standardized picklists, and record-type governance that keep subsidiary-specific data distinguishable and reportable at the enterprise level.Design and maintain reports and dashboards that roll up from individual subsidiary performance to consolidated enterprise views for executive and board reporting.Manage integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (policy administration, document management, marketing automation) in partnership with the DT&EE engineering team.Evaluate new Salesforce releases, features, and AppExchange tools, and recommend adoption where they advance enterprise value across financial, operational, customer, employee, risk, or strategic capability dimensions.Resolve support tickets and troubleshoot issues raised by users across subsidiaries, prioritizing based on business impact and maintaining clear service-level expectations.Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training so subsidiary teams with different workflows can use Salesforce effectively and consistently, building sales-user proficiency rather than just resolving individual tickets.Partner with subsidiary leaders and the DT&EE team to gather requirements, scope enhancements, and manage a shared release calendar that avoids conflicting changes across business units.Maintain a sandbox and change management strategy (version control, deployment pipeline, testing) appropriate for a multi-subsidiary production environment.Support compliance and audit needs specific to an insurance holding company, including field-level security, data retention, and access controls aligned to regulatory requirements.Required QualificationsSalesforce Certified Administrator credential (Advanced Administrator preferred).3 or more years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, ideally supporting more than one business unit, brand, or subsidiary within a single org or connected orgs.Demonstrated experience with Flow, validation rules, permission sets, role hierarchies, and sharing rules in a security-sensitive environment.Strong data management skills, including deduplication, data import and export tools, and report or dashboard design.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate the needs of different subsidiary stakeholders into a common platform solution.Comfort acting as a front-line resource for sales users, including explaining platform capabilities in plain language and coaching users toward better habits rather than only fixing tickets.Experience supporting insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred.Preferred SkillsExperience with multi-business-unit or multi-brand Salesforce architecture (Enterprise Territory Management, multiple record types and page layouts by business unit).Familiarity with Salesforce integrations to policy administration, document intelligence, or marketing automation platforms.Working knowledge of Apex, Lightning components, or a demonstrated ability to partner effectively with developers on more complex builds.Exposure to Azure DevOps or a similar tool for managing a release and change pipeline. What Success Looks LikeEach BFC subsidiary has the Salesforce configuration it needs to run its sales and service process, without duplicated effort or inconsistent data standards across the enterprise.Executive and board reporting can rely on clean, consolidated Salesforce data pulled directly from the platform.Support tickets are resolved quickly, and subsidiary teams see Salesforce as a tool that keeps pace with their business rather than a constraint. The preceding position description has been designed to indicate the general nature of the work performed, the level of knowledge
