Salesforce Administrator – Revenue Cloud
Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Salesforce Administrator – Revenue Cloud is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the Salesforce platform with a primary concentration on Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including CPQ, pricing, quoting, contract lifecycle management, and revenue operations workflows. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to streamline quote-to-cash processes, improve system performance, maintain data integrity, and drive user adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce with a focus on Revenue Cloud functionality.
- Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, security settings, and access controls.
- Support sandbox management, deployments, release testing, and system enhancements.
- Maintain system integrity, platform performance, and data quality standards.
- Configure and maintain product catalogs, bundles, product rules, pricing rules, discount schedules, and quote templates.
- Support Salesforce CPQ and Billing processes including quoting, contracting, renewals, subscriptions, and invoicing workflows.
- Troubleshoot pricing, quoting, and contract lifecycle issues.
- Partner with Finance and Sales Operations to ensure pricing accuracy and process compliance.
Sales Process Optimization
- Analyze and improve quote-to-cash workflows and sales processes.
- Develop and maintain automation using Salesforce Flow, validation rules, approval processes, and related tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational scalability.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports related to pipeline, bookings, renewals, forecasting, and sales performance.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support executive reporting and KPI visibility across the organization.
User Support & Training
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.
- Assist in onboarding and training users on Salesforce Revenue Cloud functionality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and process guides.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and other business units.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to revenue operations and system enhancements.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience.
- 2+ years supporting Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or Salesforce CPQ environments.
- Experience with quote-to-cash processes, sales operations, or revenue operations strongly preferred.
Certifications
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and related workflows.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Flow, reports, dashboards, and declarative automation tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
