Business Development Manager

We're a 90-year, family-owned printing company serving the Twin Cities market with $35M in annual revenue. Our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service has made us a trusted partner for businesses across commercial print, digital, direct mail, and specialty printing solutions.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing relationships while developing new business in our well-established vertical markets including healthcare, luxury brands, retail, financial services, education, and non-profits. Our primary markets also include corporate, manufacturing, and agency clients who value innovative print solutions and technology-driven communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure new accounts in assigned territory
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline development and forecasting
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth
  • Develop customized print solutions and compelling proposals
  • Collaborate with production and customer service teams for seamless project execution
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Be held accountable for creating new opportunities and revenue growth

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of successful print sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of print production processes and applications
  • Results-driven with strong financial motivation and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree
  • Existing client relationships in our target markets
  • Experience with sustainable printing trends and innovations
