Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of warehouse, distribution, customer service, or industrial supply experience.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Present a professional image to customers, vendors, and team members at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments regarding orders, shipments, and inventory.
• Some inside sales duties, including generating new and repeat product quotations and product information to customers promptly.
• Some purchasing duties, including sourcing products and negotiating the most favorable agreement possible.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Stock new inventory and maintain current inventory levels accurately.
• Prepare, pack, and process customer orders for shipment via Ground and LTL carriers.
• Carefully and accurately maintain receiving and shipping records for assigned categories.
• Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing freight shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment.
• Perform general warehouse and clerical duties as assigned.
• Occasional local deliveries using a company vehicle may be required.
• Manage time effectively, meet personal productivity goals, and work collaboratively with other team members.
• Assist in additional operational tasks as needed to support branch success.
