Role Overview

Under general supervision, you will develop industry-specific knowledge and experience, with the potential for promotion to an Outside Sales Representative role. You may rotate through various departments to observe, learn, and perform responsibilities that build your industry knowledge, sales techniques, and understanding of our processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Receive training and perform duties in areas such as yard operations, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, and inside sales while learning the outside sales role.
  2. Accompany Outside Sales Reps or the Sales Manager on customer calls to learn effective sales and customer service techniques.
  3. Assist in inside sales/counter responsibilities, including answering phones and taking orders.
  4. Perform outside sales responsibilities such as take-offs, order processing, obtaining signatures, and making sales calls to customers.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, plus 0-2 years of industry operations or sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
