Job summary

Graybar seeks a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training and hands-on learning. You will rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes to gain a comprehensive view of the business and prepare for a sales role.

In this role you will build product knowledge across electrical, communications, and security equipment while developing strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes.
