Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training sessions and hands-on learning.

You will be exposed to all areas of our business and receive specialized training before transitioning into a sales role. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with compensation starting at $18.59–$27.88 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes.
