Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking a Sales Trainee to support the sales team and learn electrical supply distribution, partner relations, and core sales practices. You will develop strong customer service skills while engaging with prospects and channel partners to generate interest and qualify opportunities.

• Proven sales experience or industry knowledge preferred.
• Strong phone presence.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Recognize lucrative sales opportunities within the industry.
• Call outbound leads using designed talk tracks and follow up with prospects.
• Understand customer needs to make recommendations based on opportunity.

• Learn to close sales and meet monthly quotas.

Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for a Sales Trainee who will work to support the sales team or sales efforts within the organization. They will learn about electrical supply distribution, relevant partners, construction needs as they pertain to electrical installation and equipment and common sales practices within the industry. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn, grow and provide superior Customer Service. They must be comfortable making and receiving calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

Responsibilities:

• Working to recognize lucrative sales opportunities within the industry.
• Utilizing designed talk tracks to call outbound leads and follow-up with prospects.
• Understanding customer needs and requirements to be able to make recommendations based off opportunity.
• Shadow associates throughout the organization to learn how we perform job duties and interact with partners and customers at every level of the business.
• Learn best practices to close sales and achieve monthly quotas.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
