Job summary

PharmaGen is seeking a motivated Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to grow sales by developing and maintaining accounts across physician offices, hospitals and rehabilitation facilities within a defined territory.

The ideal candidate has some college and sales experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Entry-level reps should pursue PSC, CNPR or CMR industry credentials to comply with selling guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers.
• Consulting with physicians, nursing staff and office staff to secure product orders.
• Sustain or generate new or repeat orders for all products and programs.
• Completing all required reports accurately, completely and in a timely fashion.
• Other duties related to the position.
• Adhering to all federal pharmaceutical detailing regulations and industry sales guidelines.

• Entry level pharmaceutical sales reps should obtain industry credentials and certifications.

What background and experience is needed to be one of our Pharmaceutical Sales Reps?

The ideal candidate will possess some college and sales experience. A strong initiative with exceptional customer service, presentation, and communication skills is desired. Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) as well as knowledge of contact management CRM software is helpful.

• All our entry level Pharmaceutical Sales Reps should possess either a PSC, CNPR or CMR industry Sales Certification.
• All our Pharmaceutical Sales Reps must be aware and conscious of industry sell regulations and adhere to all of them when dealing with physicians.
• Entry level Pharmaceutical Reps should obtain all industry certification so to adhere to PharmaGen selling guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages.
• Solid process orientation, demonstrated resource management and allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry and marketplace trends.
