JOB FUNCTION:
We're looking for a “plug-and-play” sales professional with a strong hunter mentality—someone who ideally has experience in capital equipment sales, particularly machinery used in food manufacturing environments. Our most pressing need is for a candidate with a strong background in packaging equipment, including weighing or checkweighing systems, vertical and horizontal form/fill/seal machines, automated packaging systems, metal detection for food packaging, and food-related material handling.
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, proactive, and skilled at identifying and pursuing new opportunities. This role involves driving sales and promoting our range of automatic, checkweigher, industrial, and engineered products within a defined territory. Responsibilities include managing end-user projects, OEM activities, and sales outside of Yamato Corporation's regional coverage. You will be accountable for assessing opportunities, developing strategies, and implementing initiatives to close sales, meet KPI metrics, and achieve company goals and objectives.
TERRITORY: Southern Region, United States (New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana). The territory states may change based on business needs and management discretion.
