Position Title: SALES TEAM LEAD
Role Summary

A Sales Team Lead supports the Store Sales Manager in driving sales, executing operational functions, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role provides leadership, guidance, and operational support to the team daily.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Sales Performance
    • Assist in achieving sales goals through effective leadership.
    • Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts to monitor and motivate the team.
    • Participate in sales activities such as customer engagement and product knowledge learning.
  2. Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional service by engaging with customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues.
    • Train and coach team members to meet customer service standards.
    • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  3. Team Leadership
    • Hold team accountable for performance expectations.
    • Motivate the team to meet sales targets and deliver excellent service.
    • Adjust team priorities as needed to meet goals.
    • Provide on-the-spot coaching and communicate employee concerns timely.
  4. Product Knowledge & Visual Merchandising
    • Stay updated on key sales items and product features.
    • Train team members on merchandise features and selling techniques.
    • Ensure merchandise displays adhere to visual standards.
  5. Departments of Responsibilities
    • Understand and execute shared responsibilities and department duties.
    • Be flexible to perform or change departments based on business needs.
  6. General Leadership Responsibilities
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and appropriate behavior.
    • Promote workplace safety and respond to accidents or emergencies.
    • Perform opening/closing procedures accurately, including deposits and store security.
    • Ensure compliance with laws and safety standards.
  7. Required Skills and Abilities
    • Previous retail or sales experience.
    • Leadership and delegation skills.
    • Proactive, confident, with strong communication skills.
    • Decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially in customer service.
    • Ability to learn POS systems and interpret reports.
  8. Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
