Position Title: SALES TEAM LEAD
Role Summary
The Sales Team Lead supports the Store Sales Manager in driving sales, executing operational functions, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role provides leadership, guidance, and operational support to the team, focusing on day-to-day sales results and shared responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Sales Performance
- Assist in achieving sales goals through effective leadership.
- Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts to monitor and motivate the team.
- Engage in sales-driving activities like customer engagement, contests, and product knowledge learning.
Customer Service- Provide exceptional service by engaging with customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Train and coach team members to deliver expected customer service levels.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
Team Leadership- Hold team accountable for performance expectations.
- Motivate the team to meet sales targets and company initiatives.
- Adjust team priorities as needed.
- Offer on-the-spot coaching and communicate employee concerns timely.
Product Knowledge & Visual Merchandising- Stay updated on key sales items and product features.
- Train team on merchandise features and selling techniques.
- Ensure merchandise displays meet standards.
