Position Overview
As a Sales Team Lead, you will oversee store operations during your shift, guide clerks, manage customer service, handle transactions, stock shelves, and ensure store cleanliness. You will also train staff and manage shift reports related to inventory and cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a shift, ensuring smooth operations and guiding clerks.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Manage sales transactions with a computerized register.
- Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build displays.
- Maintain store cleanliness and a positive environment.
- Train and supervise lower-level clerks.
- Complete shift reports and handle cash and inventory issues.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Lift products safely, occasionally overhead or from the floor, weighing 30-60 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods and keep the store organized.
- Utilize store equipment and follow legal guidelines for alcohol sales.
Work Schedule & Additional Info
- Full-time, 75 hours bi-weekly.
- No telework option.
- Starting salary fixed at the minimum for new employees.
- Onsite parking available.
Qualifications
- Six months of retail sales experience or as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or equivalent.
- Must meet PA residency requirements.
- Ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting and standing.
- Pass a background check; no recent felony convictions.
