Job description

Company Description

Bish Enterprises is an agricultural equipment company located in Giltner, Nebraska. We design, manufacture, sell, and support specialized equipment and solutions for farmers, agricultural businesses, and other customers across the United States.

We are a small, growing company where employees work closely with customers and with one another. Our team values clear communication, practical problem-solving, personal responsibility, and consistent follow-through.

Because we operate in the agricultural industry, our workload changes throughout the year. Certain seasons are especially busy and may require additional availability, flexibility, and teamwork.

Bish Enterprises is an equal opportunity employer.

Job Description

Bish Enterprises is seeking a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Sales Team Coordinator to support and coordinate the daily activities of our sales team.

This is a hands‑on sales support, customer service, and people‑coordination position. The employee will help organize priorities, monitor assignments, follow up with team members, coordinate communication, and make sure sales‑related tasks continue moving forward.

The Sales Team Coordinator serves as a central point of communication between sales representatives, customers, management, and other departments.

Work Location

This is a full‑time, on‑site position located at:
508 S D Road
Giltner, Nebraska 68841

The employee is expected to work from the Bish Enterprises office during normal working hours.

This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the Giltner office.

A company laptop may be provided for business use. Receiving a company laptop does not make this a remote or hybrid position.

Travel Requirement

Some business travel is required. Travel may include:

  • Customer visits
  • Trade shows
  • Agricultural events
  • Equipment demonstrations
  • Training
  • Sales meetings
  • Dealer visits
  • Other company‑related activities

Travel may occasionally involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight stays.

The amount and location of travel may vary depending on customer needs, company events, sales activities, and the agricultural season.

The employee must be willing and able to travel when required.

Sales Team Coordination

The Sales Team Coordinator will help organize and coordinate the daily work of the sales team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Helping communicate daily and weekly priorities to members of the sales team.
  • Tracking sales‑related assignments, deadlines, customer commitments, quotes, orders, and follow‑up activities.
  • Contacting team members for updates, missing information, and task completion.
  • Reminding team members of deadlines, meetings, customer commitments, and required follow‑ups.
  • Making sure assigned tasks have a clear owner, deadline, and next step.
  • Following up when work is incomplete, overdue, unclear, or missing.
  • Helping organize and facilitate sales meetings.
  • Preparing meeting agendas, notes, action items, assignments, and follow‑up lists.
  • Monitoring progress on action items discussed during meetings.
  • Helping keep sales representatives aligned with company priorities and customer expectations.
  • Identifying stalled opportunities, communication gaps, workload conflicts, or missing information.
  • Escalating repeated delays, unresolved problems, or serious concerns to management.
  • Helping maintain consistent use of the company’s CRM, calendars, sales procedures, and reporting systems.
  • Assisting with onboarding and training coordination for new sales team members.
  • Helping organize training materials, system access, schedules, meetings, and follow‑up activities.

This role includes meaningful people coordination and day‑to‑day oversight of sales activities.

The employee may provide direction, follow‑up, and accountability to members of the sales team. However, final authority regarding hiring, termination, compensation, formal discipline, and major personnel decisions remains with company management unless otherwise assigned.

Customer Service and Communication

The Sales Team Coordinator will help support customers throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering customer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Gathering the information needed to understand the customer’s request.
  • Directing technical, pricing, warranty, service, or product questions to the appropriate team member when necessary.
  • Following up with customers regarding quotes, orders, availability, appointments, delivery information, and next steps.
  • Providing customers with accurate information based on approved company materials and pricing.
  • Communicating delays, changes, and updates clearly and promptly.
  • Documenting customer commitments and making sure promised follow‑ups are completed.
  • Assisting with customer concerns by gathering information and coordinating with the appropriate department.
  • Following customer issues through until they are resolved or transferred to the correct person.
  • Representing Bish Enterprises professionally when communicating with customers, vendors, dealers, visitors, and industry contacts.
Quotes, Orders, and Sales Support

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing customer quotes, proposals, product information, and sales documents using company templates and approved pricing.
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness before they are sent.
  • Receiving customer orders and accurately entering the required information into company systems.
  • Confirming customer contact information, products, pricing, delivery details, payment requirements, and other order information.
  • Monitoring open quotes and orders to help prevent missed deadlines or incomplete tasks.
  • Coordinating with production, parts, service, shipping, accounting, marketing, and other departments.
  • Checking order status and identifying possible delays or missing information.
  • Communicating order updates to the appropriate sales representative, customer, or manager.
  • Scheduling customer calls, meetings, demonstrations, appointments, and follow‑ups.
  • Maintaining sales calendars and communicating scheduling changes.
  • Assisting with preparation for trade shows, customer visits, sales meetings, and equipment demonstrations.
CRM, Reporting, and Administrative Support

Responsibilities include:

  • Entering and maintaining customer, lead, quote, order, and follow‑up information in the company’s systems.
  • Keeping customer contact information, notes, deadlines, sales stages, and next steps complete and current.
  • Preparing regular sales reports using information from the CRM, spreadsheets, and other company systems.
  • Organizing information clearly for management and the sales team.
  • Highlighting overdue follow‑ups, open quotes, customer concerns, order issues, and other items requiring attention.
  • Completing data entry, filing, document preparation, and record organization.
  • Maintaining commonly used sales materials, templates, documents, and office supplies.
  • Helping improve sales coordination procedures, tracking systems, and internal communication.
Independence and Accountability

The successful candidate must be able to work independently after receiving appropriate training.

The employee will be expected to:

  • Keep track of assigned tasks and deadlines.
  • Follow up without needing repeated reminders.
  • Ask questions when instructions or information are unclear.
  • Identify routine problems and take reasonable action to solve them.
  • Find the correct person or resource when assistance is needed.
  • Communicate delays, mistakes, or concerns promptly.
  • Keep management informed about important customer, sales, or team issues.
  • Address incomplete work professionally and respectfully.
  • Balance being supportive with maintaining clear expectations.
  • Work confidently with different personalities and communication styles.

This position may not be a good fit for someone who requires constant step‑by‑step direction for routine work or who is uncomfortable following up with coworkers about incomplete assignments.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position that generally requires approximately 44 to 50 working hours per week.

The normal schedule is Monday through Friday.

Saturday, early‑morning, evening, or additional hours may occasionally be required due to:

  • Customer deadlines
  • Company travel
  • Trade shows or events
  • Equipment demonstrations
  • Agricultural seasonality
  • Increased workload during busy periods

Some scheduling flexibility may be available with management approval.

Any schedule adjustment must still allow the employee to meet customer needs, attend required meetings, complete on‑site responsibilities, coordinate the sales team, and fulfill travel requirements.

Because Bish Enterprises is a small and growing company, employees may occasionally be asked to assist with reasonable duties outside their normal task list.
