Job summary

GPC is seeking a Sales Team Advisor to lead a team and drive Pepsi brand sales in the Austin/Kasson/Stewartville territory. You will guide the team to secure product placement, manage orders, and ensure program compliance.

You will leverage strong sales acumen and MS Office skills to develop presentations, conduct weekly retail audits, and nurture client relationships while achieving targets. This role offers competitive salary and benefits in a family-owned beverage distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or another Business-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Preferred proven sales and service ability within the soft drink industry.
• Demonstrate intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Drive Distribution and Displays: Secure placement for new GPC beverages and implement display activities to support sales goals.
• Order Management: Manage orders for GPC beverages across all assigned accounts.
• Customer Agreements: Sell and ensure compliance with Customer Development Agreements (CDAs) at designated accounts.
• Store Resets: Reset Small and Large Format accounts to align with GPC standards.
• Engage Customers: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers.
• Retail Insights: Conduct weekly retail audits and track ad performance to inform strategies.
• Foster Relationships: Build and nurture strong customer relationships while driving sales growth.
• Lead the Team: Inspire, coach, and guide the sales team to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Optimize Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and team effectiveness.
