Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Senior IT Functional Analyst, Sales to integrate sales applications with enterprise systems and support end-to-end processes for accounts, territories, sales and commissions. You will collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver effective technology solutions.

Required are strong SAP sales experience, data analysis skills, SQL and Excel proficiency, and excellent communication. The role may require up to 10% travel and works in the Davidson, NC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in SAP sales software.
• 3+ years of experience with data migration and systems/platform integration.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience.
• 5+ years of SDLC experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of compensation process flows and business rules.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster relationships with business users and stakeholders focusing on Sales processes and SAP platforms.
• Ensure projects are delivered with high quality and on time.
• Analyze business processes to provide solutions improving capability, productivity and accuracy in sales data flows.
• Translate sales requirements into functional/integration designs.
• Define integration/technical requirements with IT teams.
• Own end-to-end data flows into and out of sales and commissions apps.
• Document integration designs and data mappings.
• Monitor integration jobs and troubleshoot data accuracy and failures.
• Support system testing, release management and QA activities.
