This Position reports to: Product Line Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

The work model for the role is: Remote with preferred home location in Bartlesville, OK. #LI-Remote

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
  • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
  • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
Qualifications for the role
  • 2-5 Years of relevant work experience in sales support, bids, and proposals. (more experience is also welcome).
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering preferably inInstrumentation or Electronics is preferred.
  • Specialized knowledge of field instrumentation to measure and monitor level, pressure and temperature is required, knowledge in Levels would be preferred.
  • Good reading experience of reviewing technical RFQdocuments
  • Experience in product selection and configuration, quotation preparation, technical document compliance, vendor coordination, full-cost model calculation (familiar with SAP Models), and technical query clarification.
  • Knowledge of sales operations tools - Salesforce, Opportunity Management, Reports, and Dashboards.
  • Exposure and understanding of the industrial processes -, Oil & Gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, Power Plant, Water & Wastewater.
  • Exposure and understanding of international standards - ISA, API, ANSI/ASME, ISO, IEC, and Hazardous location approvals.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $65,100 and $104,160 annually.
